Mt Kilimanjaro has always been one of the most attractive destinations of African continent. The Uhuru peak, one of the summits of Kilimanjaro, is the highest point in Africa. Kilimanjaro has two summits, the Mawnzi at 5149m and the Kibo at 5895 mt, which can be reached via walking and scrambling routes.

The snow covered peak of Mt Kilimanjaro sits like a white crown, thus making it look even more appealing in the company of fluffy clouds. Moreover, due to global warming, the snow at the top of Mt Kilimanjaro is slowly melting and will disappear in a few years, according to the scientists. This makes it even more important to visit Mt Kilimanjaro as soon as possible, or it won’t be as magnificent later on. Even though the people visit Kilimanjaro all around the year, but the best time to take the trip is from September to February.

You’ll be starting the trip with a visit to the spectacular Lake Manyara National park. On approaching the National park, you will see the Rift valley escarpment looming in the horizon, giving it a stunning backdrop. The park is a wide green strip alongside a glistening Lake Manyara.

The national park has a huge variety of birds and mammals, and is also famous for its African elephants as well as tree climbing lions.
